Music is a wonderful part of our lives. It inspires, moves, motivates and can touch us in many different and wonderful ways!  My mission is to offer high quality music instruction to students of all ages and abilities from children to adults, from the beginner to advanced. My primary focus with private instruction is to help you meet your individual goals. I was trained as a classical pianist. As a Pastor's wife I was suddenly thrown into a different arena as a church pianist. Tuition

$25.00/Lsn. = $100.00 paid by cash or check to Rod Hutchens due the 1st of the month. Each quarter has a 5th week on your lesson day. Those months the cost will be $125. If you have to miss a lesson I will do my best to give you an alternate day/time to make it up but with such a tight schedule I can make no promises. Lessons will be treated just as if you are in a dance, skating or college class. In those classes you pay up front and if you have to miss you generally cannot make it up.  If I am sick or have to miss a lesson I will do my best to make it up or I will credit your next months account.

Musical Celebration!

Each year the Musik Haus has a fun recital where students can share what they have learned. We have a mixture of piano, trombone, and guitar students. We may even have a sing along depending on the season ie: Our Winter Wonderland theme! We don't believe in scare tactics or pressure but we do find it beneficial and fun for the students to share their progress. Although some get nervous -wouldn't we all, the students have a fun time. Isn't that what it's all about?!

Adults and Homeschoolers - day time openings!

Mr. and Mrs. Hutchens homeschooled their children for many years. They love working with homeschoolers in helping them reach their musical goals - from making private recordings to give as Christmas gifts, to preparing students for college entrance music exams.
